Becoming a “𝙃𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙠” for the Next Generation of Climate Innovators

We were honored to be invited by CarbonCare InnoLab (CCIL) to participate as a guest speaker in their impactful HumanLibrary session under the Hang Seng Low Carbon Future – Low Carbon Schools program this week.

This entire climate education initiative is fully supported and sponsored by HangSengBank . What makes this specific session at Aberdeen Technical School (ATS) incredibly unique is how it is financed: the event’s expenses are entirely covered by the Feed-in Tariff (FiT) rebates generated from the solar power systems installed at the school. It is a brilliant, real-world example of green infrastructure directly funding 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣!

Instead of traditional books, a Human Library features people with unique industry stories, ready to be “read” through interactive dialogue. Our team had the absolute privilege of sharing our company journey and circular economy with groups of Form 4 and Form 5 students at ATS.

During these close-knit breakout sessions, we peeled back the curtain on what it really takes to build a GreenTech startup in Hong Kong. Seeing the students’ curiosity, sharp questions, and genuine interest in climate resilience reminds us why community education is so vital.
