荃新天地設紙包飲品盒回收機 每收一個回贈1毫

根據環保署數據，2019年全港紙包飲品盒每年棄置量高達27,000噸，數量足以鋪滿逾4,100個大球場。有見於此，市建局及信置旗下的「荃新天地」，與全港首間紙包飲品盒回收漿廠Mil Mill喵坊本，推出紙包飲品盒回收計劃，於商場增設智能回收機，並附加八達通現金回贈，每回收一個獲回贈1毫，每張八達通卡每日最多可獲2元回贈。

荃新天地聯同Mil Mill喵坊於今年6月18至30日期間進行網上問卷調查，在369名受訪者中，有66.9%會將紙包飲品盒當作垃圾棄置，僅有約10%能正確把紙包飲包盒棄於專屬回收機或回收箱。近80%表示從來沒有回收過紙包飲品盒，主要原因為不知道可以回收、過少回收點及回收步驟過於繁複。

荃新天地於7月17日至8月29日期間，於荃新天地商場2期設置紙包飲品盒智能回收機，市民只須剪開紙包飲品盒1角沖洗乾淨，投入紙包飲品盒回收機即可回收。市民每回收1個紙包飲品盒，更可獲回贈1毫至八達通卡，每張八達通卡每日最多可獲取2元回贈。此外，商場亦舉辦紙包飲品盒回收、循環再做的環保教育展覽，展板隨後會在區內中小學作巡迴展覽。

今天（7日）於荃新天地舉辦的「Go Green ! 環保救地球」，希望能藉著啟動「紙包飲品回收計劃」鼓勵市民多向社會宣揚環保的重要性亦期望他們能於日常生活上作出實際的改變。

紙包飲品盒回收率低 嚴重影響生態環境

「綠惜地球」和「環護教育基金會董事局」董事局成員梁榮武教授表示於今年6月時，與他的團隊和義工成員曾到西貢清理海灘，發現不少可回收的垃圾，他表示隨便拋棄垃圾，不但會破壞海洋環境還會影響海洋生態鏈。現時，氣候危機日趨嚴重，假如地球不能繼續可持續發展 ，下一代會受到嚴重影響。

望現金回贈 能成回收誘因

是次問卷調查共有369名6歲或以上香港市民參與，調查反映現金回贈能鼓勵更多市民回收紙包飲品盒，市民只需在7月17日至8月29日期間將紙包飲品盒重洗乾淨後，放置於荃新天地商場2期的紙包飲品回收盒智能回收機，即可獲回贈HK$0.1自己八達通，荃新天地期望藉此培養市民長期回收紙包飲品盒的習慣。商場亦會同時舉辦綠色生活市集，將使用環保物料製作的桌椅轉贈予低收入家庭，為他們作環保的好榜樣。

環保問題在香港愈來愈被重視，近日 IKEA（宜家）在全港多間分店引入資源回收機，除了入樽機外，還有鋁罐和紙包飲品盒都可以有賞回收。只要將回收物清洗乾淨帶到分店進行回收，每件回收物 IKEA 都會有 1 亳子回贈至八達通卡，每張八達通每日可得到最高 HK$2 回贈。

IKEA 在 facebook 平台發文表示 IKEA 最近引入 8 部資源回收機，除了市面上越見普及的入樽機外，鋁罐和紙包飲品盒都可以有賞回收。四間分店，分別是九龍灣店﹑銅鑼灣店﹑沙田店及荃灣店。

官方表示，每件回收物 IKEA 都會有 1 亳子回贈至八達通卡，每張八達通每日可得到最高 HK$2 回贈，即一個市民每一日可以回收約二十件的物品。雖然有市民表示每日只有 HK$2 回贈太少，但作為一個私營機構，願意提起社會企業責任已算是不錯。希望 IKEA 未來日子可以提供更多資源回收點，讓市民可以為環保出一份力。

我們常聽見一些質疑，指出回收箱的物資其實到最後也是被運往堆填區。這不僅令我們覺得失望，也令不少想參與回收的市民卻步。南華早報的這篇報道，則指出有多少數量的PET塑膠仍未能被送往回收。
